Words
We toss them around and
take them for granted

We think there are words for
every situation
every feeling
every moment

But
sometimes
You find that the right words
just haven't been invented yet

  1. This is true! I have actually found it harder and harder to articulate lately, and this poem slice really summed it up for me. Thanks!

  2. Sometimes there are no words.

Sometimes it's better if we just have to listen. And hug or laugh or cry.

    Beautiful poetic slice.

  3. Wow, Deb! Watching for words that yet to be invented. I am pausing to think about this.

  4. 26 letters with an infinite number of combinations. Aren't we lucky? it means we can look forward to new words, new meanings. Thanks Deb for the good word on words.
