It still looks like winter here in northeast Iowa.
But if you pay attention and look closely, there are signs of spring.
Tulips are peeking through the not-so-frozen ground.
Basketballs are bouncing.
Jump ropes are jumping.
The warmth of the sun finds its way through the cold breezes of leftover winter.
Soon.
Yes, soon. Hang in there!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's raining here tonight, almost changing to snow, but it's supposed to be 70 by Friday! Almost!
ReplyDeleteOne more day and we're suppose to be in the 70's for the weekend in Arkansas. Spring is coming! The trees have a green tinge, the forsythia are all yellow, tulips are popping thru, the dogwoods have buds. Yes, spring is coming!
ReplyDeleteI love those pics of the basketball player and the jump roper! Fun to think of them as signs of spring!
ReplyDeleteSoon enough it'll be burning hot and we'll be asking where autumn is. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteYou have to admire the tulips who can push their way through when there is still so much snow on the ground. There may be jump ropes and basketballs, but there are also heavy coats, gloves, hats, and boots. Spring needs to hurry up!
