My day is crazy.
My schedule is crazy.
My Life is crazy.
Sometimes
I want to scream like
Crazy.
Is it time to retire?
Not yet.
School smooths the
Craziness.
Students smile,
Students laugh,
Kids are happy to be in my room.
I breathe.
I am settled.

The perfect Monday poem. It is the students that make teaching a joy!
ReplyDeleteThat is SO true. The craziness of life makes you want to pull your hair out as it continues to push you through life. Children always seem to balance out the craziness...although they can add too it on occasions. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI like the rhythm, the way you start out so fast, then slow a bit, finally ready to 'be' okay. Work for me sometimes does it, & looking our the window, & music. Different things happen to make everything better. Thanks for telling 'your' story.
ReplyDeleteNice! I really like it! Perfect touch to the day! It is soothing to read. Sometimes Mondays aren't so soothing but I think it is today! Thanks for sharing! Happy slicing! :)

I love this line because it is so true in my life! I love school!
Beautiful poem and so appropriate. I love the fact that children's smiles can encourage the day and make the craziness calm.
